Buckman's Dairy in Greece, NY. They made their own ice cream but more importantly (to me): donuts.

The memory of their chocolate-filled donuts occupy more space in my brain than necessary, and I wilk likely continue to view all other donuts as regrettably inferior for all time.

I have a memory from the late 90s/early 2000s of my mom trying to take me to see The Nut Tree since it was a highlight of her own childhood growing up in Antioch. We were visiting CA from NY and I'll never forget how devastated she was to find out it was no longer a restaurant.
