VERY IMPRESSED with wide-ranging age groups participating in the AAF: established artists; graduates + children. Also, the fact that FIVE Seoul galleries (ArtIACO.com + Gallery Cube Seoul [both pictured], Gallery Millcreek, GalleryTableau.com + MookjiArt.com) had travelled all the way from Korea!

'A collage of four photographs depicting scenes from the “Art on a Postcard Winter Auction” display.

Top left image: A spacious, industrial-style gallery interior with concrete floors. Outer window displays bold black lettering that reads “ART ON A POSTCARD WINTER AUCTION.” Beneath it, smaller text announces, “Auction Dates | 26 Sept – 14 Oct” and “Private View | 26 September.” A wide staircase in the background. The lighting is bright and minimal, emphasizing the clean, modern aesthetic.

Top right image: A close-up of an informational poster for the same event. The heading reads, “ART ON A POSTCARD WINTER AUCTION, 25 SEPT – 14 OCT 2025.” The text explains that this will be the final major postcard auction by the organization, raising funds for The Hepatitis C Trust. It details how small-format artworks are donated by established and emerging artists, with proceeds supporting hepatitis C eradication and community health programs. It mentions curatorial involvement and thanks supporting sponsors such as the Hepatitis C Trust, Pallas Citron and ArtElium.

Bottom left image: An interior wall display titled “Art on a Postcard” in black lettering on the wall. Below the sign, long wooden shelves present a colourful selection of illustrated postcards, arranged neatly in rows. The display exudes a creative atmosphere, highlighting the blend of art and accessible design central to the project’s concept.

Bottom right image: A night-time street scene showing a red Transport for London bus stop sign. The sign reads “Marylebone Station” and lists several bus routes — 18, 27, N18, N27 and N205 — which travel towards Camden Town or Kings Cross. The dark blue evening sky and surrounding trees contrast with the illuminated red and white signage, situating the art event within an urban London context.

Overall, the collage conveys the professional, charitable and contemporary spirit of the “Art on a Postcard Winter Auction,” blending visual art, public engagement and city life.'

'A collage of four photographs connected to the location of the Tamart showroom in east London. One image shows a street sign fixed to a brick wall that reads “London Borough of Hackney, Garden Walk EC2.” Another photo captures the exterior of a brick building with large windows, featuring a white vertical banner that says “WAX” in bold black letters and a smaller sign on the wall -- just above the entrance -- reading “THE WAX BUILDING.” A third image displays a printed promotional sign, within the site, for the “tamart Lounge Bar,” which describes the bar as a mix of 1960s club glamour and relaxed domesticity, originally designed for a private members club, with details about Highgate High Stools, upholstered lounge chairs and the short three-minute film, "Powered by Love," being screened -- at regular intervals -- in the same room. The final image shows a wooden bar stool with a reddish-brown seat, placed against a cream wall beside the cylindrical corner part of what is a long bar, reimagined and on full display, all standing on this first-floor showroom's parquet wooden floor.'

Surrounding areas are labeled with playful misspellings like "Belgraria" (Belgravia), "Maydifarid" (Mayfair), "Pimblicco" (Pimlico) and "Bucgrivia" (Victoria). Infographic featuring themes related to Southwark, London. At the center is Tower Bridge, with an open book and speech bubbles symbolizing communication, surrounded by icons representing different categories: people in traditional British attire labeled "Events," a book labeled "Curated Southwark," a soccer ball labeled "Books," a crowd with balloons, etc. Additional themes include "Art History," "Sports," and "Languages," depicted with trophies and books. Overall style is retro and playful. Test states "PLEASE SEND any Southwark-related events to howtoenjoylondon@yahoo.co.uk for, "SOUTHWARK's followed by link. Especially interested in Bermondsey, Burgess Park, Camberwell, Dulwich Village, Newlands, Surrey Quays, Rotherhithe and Walworth."

The Peña Flamenca de Londres is the UK’s oldest and largest flamenco club – a community arts group run by its members.  We have been promoting flamenco since 1984.   We put on shows most months at our venue in Pimlico and hold an annual feria event.  We also run courses, put on juerga ‘open stage’ events and promote flamenco culture across the UK.    Members get reduced entry to our shows and other benefits but we welcome non-members.
