What little down time we have sunk into an application and the funder cant even say if it was on the right track, feels like a kick in the teeth to young researchers. 3/3

When the inevitable rejection letter arrives, the one piece of solace is that the feedback can help you improve your application and try again. 2/3
#postdocs put in long hours on a daily basis, spend weekends and holidays in the lab acquiring data for other peoples grants, contribute our free time to support the University and funders in promoting research and engagement, participiate in teaching and supervising for little to no extra pay 1/3
