I know what it's like to have your accomplishments overlooked or downplayed just because it's you. No matter how hard I tried or what I did, I knew I'd never make my mama proud because I was not the child she wanted. I understand trauma but it's not an excuse to hurt other people.

I feel for you. I know what it's like to have parents who hate you just for being who you are. I know what it's like never to feel good enough no matter how hard you try.

Ferns are one of my favorite plants and a huge part of my plant collection. Here we have a tree fern, rabbit foot fern, asparagus fern, and a maiden hair fern on my dresser and a Boston fern and a fancy ruffle fern on their stands.
