If we're talking about Magpie Games one, I heavily disagree with this. The system is fairly narrative driven and I feel as if it's done pretty well when I played it. It's not really meant for Avatar type stories and I kind of prefer that? Chosen one things don't typically work well in TTRPGs anyway.

I will always condemn this behaviour whenever I come across it. People should not have to deal with this when creating anything. Not all of us have the stones to deal with harassment like I'm able to and to hear it happened to a game I recommended to other people makes me livid.

It's a good first step from our government to not have an exemption. There needs to be further laws to make it easier to either go against AI companies that use copyrighted works or making it easier to give harsher punishments to companies who use copyrighted works. I prefer the latter.

Sadly this is a little misleading. According to articles, it is just not agreeing with an exemption for AI to train on artistic works. No regulations were implemented, merely the exemption was shot down. There needs to be a lot more work to actively combat AI using copyrighted material in Australia.

It's sad to hear that the VO industry is filled with cutthroat people. I feel like a lot of industries are like that and it puts me off applying for a lot of jobs.
