Having a really comfy house has awoken a dormant housewife who gets excited about vacuuming and likes picking up after people.

I’m not unhappy about this.

I could swear I’ve never even heard of this show, yet Sly is so familiar. I don’t mean the actor either, I remember *Sly* despite being sure I haven’t ever watched an episode.

Anyway, these retrospectives are great.

It was well on the way to literally dying (the landlord was cheap and idle to the point of self-sabotage):

No more, but it was starting to rot away down there because the landlord was all, “it’s not covered in the lease” even though it was getting so water damaged it would cost her loads in the long run.

She was such a cheap moron.

And yes, the draft excluder is the thing I’m most excited about.

Landlady’s the daughter of previous owner who passed, doesn’t wanna let it go but doesn’t wanna leave it empty. One of the less evil landlordings, much better than the megalomaniac we had.

We were allowed to keep whatever we wanted so I got neat retro hi-fi and a fucking draft excluder snake!

Halfway moved into the new place. All one floor, super accessible, lots of open space, pretty much perfect for my disability needs. Has a delightful grandma-chic aesthetic along with obligatory abundance of tat cabinets and display areas for my nonsense.

I’m so happy with it.

And yeah, as others are saying, the sheer hypocrisy we’re seeing in which games are getting hit so far and which ones are still up is so blatant as to be outrageous.

The whole scenario is one big unfunny joke.

Yeah, while not the point here of course, I do have to say the trailer got me pretty keen on it. Seems authentic as hell, and it looks like Chatterer will have a good bit of screen time. I love me some Chatterer.

As well as that, the execs in charge are likely right wing fucks themselves who quietly agree with the bigotry fueling these movements - a loathing of sex workers and a desire to suppress queer voices in the process.

They’ve been doing this for many years. It’s very much what they agree with.

Look at what advertisers did to YouTube, and TV networks before it.

Money people *are* cartoonish prudes, in practice if not in belief. They want sanitized content so everyone can always access everything, and therefore be marketed to.

And they’re dumbasses who don’t understand content.

One can only hope this wave of censorship gets challenged when a big enough publisher is hit. That might move the needle.

Shame on them for their silence so far. It’s not surprising at all, but still disappointing. This will impact the whole industry and big pubs have a responsibility to speak up.

This is the new illogical reality post-Steam bending its knee to a fascist-led censorship movement. As much as they’re picking on indie games, it’s not like fascism is ever pleased. They’ll keep going, and it can only lead to a *ridiculous* future for games.

Watched a trailer for the new Hellraiser. It starts with a sex scene, tits out and everything, followed by tons of incredibly graphic violence. It ended with a call to wishlist it on Steam.

But the post-capitulating Steam won’t sell a Hellraiser game that’s authentic to Hellraiser, will it?

I’ve been disconnected from a lot of online stuff with the house move taking up my life, but I’ve kept an eye on things and I’m looking forward to joining in the phoning when I’ve a moment.

Either it works or they keep hearing about it. Or they hit too big a company who actually fights it.

It’s disgusting. A small group of open bigots in Australia being favored over an entire medium and at least tens of thousands of people.

This is real censorship. Not the version perceived by the free speech warriors who are silent/celebratory on this. May their phone lines be swamped forever.

It’s a truly sick irony that *credit card companies* get to act as the arbiters of what is and isn’t decent. Nothing they censor could hope to be anywhere near as perverse as that.
