Labour’s welfare plan will force disabled people out of work, not into it
We all agree that the welfare system needs change — but the current government’s proposal for benefits cuts disguised as “reform” will only reduce the number of disabled people in work.
My opinion piece for LBC on the recent announcement of UK disability benefits cuts, as a wheelchair user and researcher who helped shape reform of the disability benefits system in the US:
