Interest in China’s Deep-Sea Drones
Chinese military commentator Bai Mengchen highlighted that China’s latest extra-large uncrewed underwater vehicles (XLUUVs) are well-suited to counter threats in the deep sea, especially after the lessons of the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage.

China is now showcasing the new CJ-1000 long-range hypersonic cruise missile. While limited details are available, analysts believe it resembles the DF-100 unveiled in 2019, falling between intermediate & intercontinental ballistic missiles, it is designed for strategic long-range strike capability.
