The proposed definition is nor perfect, just as the IHRA antisemitism definition is not perfect, but it helps codify what is and is not Islamophobic/anti-Muslim sentiment in a way that I think is needed.

My impression is that both are pushing the boundaries of "acceptable discourse" well beyond the limits.
