I'm running two Serenity campaigns right now. This week, one of them spent an hour calculating money and restocking on supplies, fuel, etc. 😂 It made them happy, so I helped guide them with that, but I always warn my Serenity tables that they're in charge of keeping track of their money/inventory.

There are two different ones! I’ve never played the Firefly RPG, only Serenity, which came out in 2005 as a tie-in with the movie.

Nah you’re fine, it’s the one thing that I’ve always been bothered by in the system. Combat’s also a little wonky, but I am adapting it in a way that makes more sense. This was my OG TTRPG from 2009 and I’ve been running the system for ~3 years now, but there are little things that could be better.

100% absolutely. Like why do I need to spend 20 minutes calculating these numbers? Just give me an amount and I will nod and say, “Sounds good to me!”

It’s in one of the modules, which I literally just closed but I believe it’s an official module. 😂 I have no desire to get that crunchy with numbers *ever*.
