it's been good!! now that i'm back at work i'm having to get used to using my arms a bit more actively again (with some restrictions ofc) despite the slight discomfort🥲 but otherwise i've mostly just been taking it easy and my incisions/grafts are healing well i think! :D

the initial visceral reaction he has to seeing kid for the first time does conjure an image of duck but only bc he's at a particularly low point mentally though. and is the main reason he lets his guard down enough to let them stick around at first👍

i don't think kenny actually sees duck in kid, it's more of a feeling of wanting to protect because he feels like he failed too many times before
