I totally understand, when your life is turning into the Handmaids Tale you don’t want to be reminded about it! Ooh I’ll check it out, I love rereading books, it’s like catching up with old friends!

Isn’t it brilliant!! It was a complete fluke I picked it up too and now I’m waiting on pre-orders for two more of Marlen’s books being translated and released in June 👍

I loved this book, it was such an original take on the dystopian genre

It follows an unnamed and unreliable narrator the morning after an assault at a party. She tries to piece together what happened to her and what she should do next. It’s a full-on female rage read with hints of the supernatural 👌

Yup, it’s pretty out there as book titles go 😂

Dead Animals by Phoebe Stuckes

This was such a great read - intense, frantic and frenetically charged
