SIMON: What? SHAPIRO: ...Or saying... SIMON: You imagine that? SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over. SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level. SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this. SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

I've been working on an article about the Hammer Dracula films -- writing while I watched each. It was going well until I hit The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires. It's actually quite a good film. But I feel like it shouldn't be included. It doesn't really fit.

Ingredients 2 onions diced 1 lb mushrooms 2 TB sesame oil 1 cup whole wheat flour 5-5Β½ cups water Β½ cup soy sauce
In large pot, heat oil and saute onions and mushrooms. In a small bowl, whisk flour with enough water to form thin paste. Add remaining water and soy sauce to vegetables in pot. Start with 5 cups of water and add more at the end if the gravy is too thick. Bring to a boil, and cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Add flour mixture, stir well, and cook about 15 minutes until desired consistency is reached. Stir occasionally.
itβs just the premade packet of gravy you add water to lol
As promised, here is the recipe I use to make vegan mushroom gravy, and the recipe my husband uses to make meat-based gravy

Having watched all the Hammer Dracula films now, I'm struck that conventional wisdom is mostly wrong. Critics seem to have stopped liking the films when they started doing new things. But these films now stand out as excellent. The old ones? Kind of tired.

"For folks who have spent the last decade under a rock, a description that apparently applies to most of the Washington press corps..."
On 28 Feb 2017, Trump said, "'Nobody knew health care could be so complicated." You'd think the press would have learned by now!
