A Song for You and I by K. O’Neill
A very pleasant, quiet, gorgeous graphic novel about discovering and accepting yourself and making room for yourself to be who you are. The word gets thrown around to the point of meaninglessness but it is also a bit ghibliesque in its tone.

I don’t normally go for games like this but my goodness this one was fun. I got really sucked into this little world and my little ship. It felt good to move around the world and solve little puzzles and fight enemies.

We did a fundraiser for the local animal shelter called Tat the Teacher where students purchased temporary tattoos for teachers to wear during parent teacher conferences. Anyway here is my ink. I also have a tasteful rose behind my ear.

The Trouble with Heroes by Kate Messner.
Hot dang. I don’t usually go for realistic fiction but this is going to be a tough one to take off the top of the pile for books I’ve read this year. Funny. Tear jerking. So very well crafted. Just a great middle grade book for everyone.
It’s been a must play since it was announced but reviews today just sent me over the edge. I need it like I need air.
Preordered Monster Hunter Stories 3 today. I didn’t really need to preorder it but here we are. I am very very excited to play this game.

I love how the current revelation that major AI companies are handing the reins over to the current administration and rather than being introspective and reconsidering that maybe using an AI to writing things for you everyone is just jumping over to a slightly less evil one.

Was in my wife’s hometown today for a funeral. One lovely person near her parents neighborhood had a flag in their yard that read “Trump: No More Bullshit” and it’s wild that they can’t see that it’s pretty much all been bullshit the whole time and will continue to be bullshit indefinitely.
Probably. But a man could dream.
I think a Persona game about adults who feel powerless and disenchanted by society and get awakened from a life of nihilistic thinking would hit pretty good right now.
