yeah, I wouldn't want it to come across as whiny, but I feel like the shift is overall net negative imo. Plus I currently don't have any sort of Thesis statement that I want to get to yet.

I keep thinking about trying to cobble together notes and thoughts from doing conventions for the past 15 years into a sort of auto bio comic that also talks about the sort of shifts in artist alley culture over time.

Just can’t really think of how best to convey that in a constructive way.

"artists should charge more!" then pay them. Do comission them. tip them what u think they're worth.

Artists wont believe they are worth money until u give it to them. They know what it's like to not have much, & hope everyone can afford their art. SHOW them they CAN ask more. Don't just Tell them.
