I've been asked a lot about makin "Noise" into a playmat but felt this crop looked bad/didn't capture the piece. what do y'all think?

Yeah then I think the criteria we have might be different. I usually put films that might not have the best standalone value but are incredibly influential.

Animated films always end up there like “tree of palm” “wind called amnesia” “memories” or “paprika”

Oh passion of Joan of ark is great. I also just remembered metropolis is a silent film so I’d put that on it too lawl

But I think about man with a movie camera so often since i love the sort of “celebration” of the mundane.

I can think of at least 2 with "The Kid" and "man with a movie camera" but I'm sure you could hit 5 depending on criteria
