I'm heading out today to spend Christmas with my parents, siblings, etc. for the first time in 20+ years (I've been with my religious community every year since I joined).
As part of my poverty, I only buy used cars. I got the currently-wrecked car as a lease return after 2 years and am looking at that again or maybe older.

There is an order of precedence & most solemnities are above Sundays in Ordinary Time, but below Sundays in Advent, Lent or Easter, & the two weeks from Palm Sunday to Divine Mercy Sunday.

For the #ImmaculateConception, my community was having a concelebration at the school several priests work at. We were asked to bring a matching concelebration vestment from the house.
What do I bring? A violet vestment. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Today is a Holy Day of Obligation for many in the US, but individual dioceses have different policies. Many have dispensed it.
I recommend you search "[name of your dioceses] Immaculate Conception holy day of obligation."
