Appreciate the insights! The WFM kits in general seem to represent a pretty significant improvement when it comes to what people expect "grade-wise". Makes you wonder (and maybe get a little sad 😅) thinking about what an MG/RG Calibarn/Schwarzette could be like... or perhaps even a PG Aerial. 🤔💸

I like that! Weapons tend to be my least favorite part of any build (unless they’re really unique/interesting), so getting them out of the way first is something I need to start embracing. 😅

The soap dish blue tint on the EG really stands out when next to the others. Maybe I’ll get another one at some point and paint it.

Been using a Pro 3 since Christmas and I love it. The d-pad is clicky vs. their previous membrane ones, and while it's louder, it's not as loud as a Series d-pad. Really nice controller!

I might try a different pose later, but the hands & some other bits are so loose that I don’t want to risk it. We’ll see!

At the very least, it looks absolutely killer just standing there, so it has that going for it. Which is nice.

A non-answer, but I like them both equally. The first one is short, but it subverted my expectations. Still Alive is also one of the GOAT songs. The sequel had a lot to live up to, and it hit it out of the park and then some. And yeah, the separate co-op campaign was amazing. Both are perfect IMO!

Oh! The only thing I did paint were the eyes. I have no intention of putting any LEDs in this, so I painted the clear plastic yellow so that you can actually (kinda) see them.

Thank you! Yeah, just panel lining with a gray Gundam pour type marker and touch-up with a Micron 003, water slides, and topcoat. I do think I'm finally going to try airbrushing a kit next, but we'll see! 😅

GOTY 2021. There were some rough spots early on during the launch window, but man, once this game clicked, it became an all-time great.

Got the water slides done on the waist, so I put everything together for a quick pic.

Really like the proportions on this! Svelte but still powerful looking and classic. 👍

Metal G45 parts for the MGEX Strike Freedom Gundam

Yep! It’s these (part G45), which are what connect the wing assemblies to the backpack. They are (as I discovered) notoriously prone to breaking. Delpi sells them as well as a bunch of sellers in China.

Yeah, it's a stunner. Looking at and working with it again today, I do think this might be the best kit I've ever built. My wife did good this past Christmas. 😊

MGEX 1/100 Strike Freedom Gundam in HiMAT mode

It took a month, but the metal replacement parts for my MGEX Strike Freedom’s wings arrived today!

I could have spent more time getting this shot just right, but it’s unstable on the stand in its HiMAT mode, so I had to hurry. 😅

I recently got into idle/incremental games, and of course I had to try Cookie Clicker. I heard about it years ago, but a game where you "click to make cookies" sounded silly.

A month later, and I'm at about 80% or so. It went from cute and interesting to surprisingly deep, active, and fun!

Legs topcoated and looking nice!

But we’re back to floppy town with that waist. Really disappointing fit and lack of tightness on the rear skirts and a couple other pieces. Gonna have to get those fixed after I get everything decaled and sprayed.
