Trump's appointed Solicitor General admits Americans pay for 30-80% of the cost of tariffs

The importer in the US pays 100% of the tariff. How much they and the retailer pass on to the consumer is up to them. Tariff taxes are fully paid for by Americans and/or American businesses.

Trump's own lawyer just admitted to the Supreme Court that American consumers pay 30%-80% of these insane Trump tariffs.

Over the next 10 years, Trump says they will collect over $4T in tariffs.

So that means American families are going to be paying $1.2T-$3.3 trillion dollars in TARIFF TAXES.

Just finished watching the 60 Minutes interview with donald trump and I’m not surprised by the lack of pushback by Nora O’Donnell. I sure she was instructed to allow trump to lie and distort. If so she should quit. I am however disgusted with the fact that CBS is now FOX.
