Again for 21-25 seconds waves but in chronological order..
The same for the even longer waves (25-30 sec.)
Quite intense and challenging for the model.
From the forecast point of view, I like ECMWF maps of significant wave height for all waves between 2 periods (21-25 sec. shown below), which clearly show the long waves propagating from California to Peru.

2025 will also be the year the next reanalysis ERA6 will start it's production runs, with surface current effects in the atmosphere and the waves, albeit not at the fine resolution as seen by SWOT.
