1) The general strike came from organizing for a general strike. Not from social media posting about going on a general strike, but organizing in neighbourhoods, organizing power in unions, and organizations drawing out members and networks.

Some ways to help Rojava from afar: raise funds for Kurdish Red Crescent, spread awareness about Rojava and attacks on it, find relevant pressure points to protest, form/join Rojava solidarty groups, form/join community assemblies in your locality, join the selfdefense of the revolution
