I don’t encounter this in the wild. Maybe I’m lucky to surround myself with good, cool queer and trans people but no one wants to argue this sh*t IRL. They want to dance and party and protest and donate to mutual aid.
My biggest advice to all trans people on this site: log off. Breathe fresh air.
I think way too many trans people on this site want cis approval. And that’s something we should run from at all costs. I shouldn’t need to go into the reasons why.
It’s why I’ve made the conscious decision to use BSky less and I’m ok with that.
My overarching issue — especially with t girls on this site — is that a few big accounts tend to drive all trans Discourse. Not intentionally, I’m not knocking them. But I don’t always like where it lands.
Like part of a Masters Program is to be challenged. It's not supposed to be easy.
But a lot of folks just need a job and have no choice but to go through academia, which doesn't always strengthen one's talents for their specific field.
I experienced this last summer (MSW) when people complained about the workload (necessarily heavy due to short semester).
On the one hand: it's a Master's Program. Maybe cuz it's my 2nd but there was nothing that shocked me.
OTOH: Is the point to churn out academics or much needed social workers?

As good as I can be considering everything is falling apart around me. I waited 40 years to transition, so I’m trying to make the most of it, while still supporting and loving my community. It’s a weird feeling of finding joy and inner peace at this moment.
