It's a tension I've always experienced in my work: a desire for somewhat serious realism, for sober and neutral tones. When in fact, my natural inclination goes straight to color, to powerful vibration.

To inspire a watercolor I'm currently working on, I reopened an artbook of Andrew Wieth, of whom I've always been a huge fan. It's been a long time since I've looked at it, and I was shocked to see how monochromatic his work is.⤵️

J'ai vu le Dune de David Lynch au cinéma quand j'avais 13 ans. Il est aujourd'hui notoire que Lynch n'aimait pas son film, mais pour ma part je l'adore et je le préfère au remake de Villeneuve. J'ai lu livre de Herbert en même temps et ça a eu un tel impact sur le petit moi.

Je guéris doucement d'une grippe très agressive et douloureuse, qui me tient au lit, silencieux, depuis 2 semaines.
C'est pourquoi j'ai un peu de retard pour nous souhaiter en 2025 bienveillance, compréhension et compassion, sur les réseaux et ailleurs.
