As much as I'm happy we finally got something for #MikuV6 I am slightly disappointed. To me, she's just NT but on Vocaloid software now... Don't get me wrong, I like NT, but she isn't great and I was hoping that Miku V6 would sound close to how Miku used to sound; V2-V4X era.

so they just announced tour dates for the US Miku Expo and I'm seeing no mention of crunchyroll having any involvement this time. it has me so hopeful for the Europe tour BC they really fucked up in 2024

I just suddenly realised that it's MEIKO's 21st anniversary in 2 weeks time... I really should go back to using her V3 again and do something to celebrate. Maybe I could finish that Nostalogic cover that's been finished and just needed mixing properly for the past few years now 🤔

Took me a few days but I finished my Unknown Mother Goose drawing. I love the song so much that I had a need to draw something for it. It was so strange going back to an anime style after a long time, but I'm honestly really proud of how Miku turned out :)

tbh what I'm more concerned about is how Luka and MEIKO are going to turn out... because imo Luka V4X AND SP are not Luka at all. And MEIKO SP is just so not it either

I don't get the whole "Rin and Len NT are kind of pointless tbh." attitude Whilst the recordings are reused from older vbs I still think they sound pretty good. Don't get me wrong, the engine makes them sound muffled like Miku NT, but idk the vbs are capable of a lot of expression and that's so cool

Yamaha and CFM making it so you can get the V6 lite editor if you have any of their updated voicebanks is kind of the best thing ever

I'm so glad NT has a standalone version because my laptop actually can tolerate it 🥲 Using PS as a plugin is just so buggy at times and I'd rather it didn't crash when I'm trying to tune :((((
