Love this piece, the text and colour palette (as someone working on their own religious trauma-adjacent inferno project πŸ–€)

A chunky block print-inspired mammoth with a lot of grain texture and subtle blue-green glow around the edges of the subject with text reading, β€œI am not too much. And never have been”, over a geometric abstract background.

🌌 A little shape and texture exercise during my holiday break. A reminder to myself and the rest of the world.

Hope you’re doing well out there ✌️

Poster of hand-drawn cerulean blue field of flowers over a charcoal background with tightly cropped blackletter text in light blue that reads: "Everything blooms around and within me"

πŸͺ» feeling grateful for the positive things in my life, even while the world looks like it's falling apart

Poster of an abstract halftone background with a static downward movement. Destroyed, ink blotted black letter text in a light steely blue reads: "There I go, collapsing into myself again". A personal interpretation of an outgrown coping mechanism.

πŸŒ€ still obsessed with print textures

A textured poster with an ultraviolet purple palette of an oval shape taking up most of the surface area with the following text: 'What happens when the void doesn't stare back because you're the one in it?'

Copy is set in a violet-purple gradient across three lines angled at 45 to the right side of the base of the oval, the text references a quote from Nietzsche: "When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you" (and fully aware it references in a way not true to the original interpretation of the quote).

This weeks somatic therapy session ended with a realization. Exploring more of this theme soon.

Love this, should be on the wall of every marketing directors office haha

Overall good colours and elements with maybe a few fixes: Text/info on the right feels unbalanced compared to the tagline on the left. Tagline feels like it needs work, with both words slightly uncomfortably too far apart and the Y is slightly further from the rest of the word (β€˜Happ y’) ✌️

Barf. By the time you review and fact-check every single chart for accuracy because Gemini is πŸ’©, you could probably do it accurately the same amount of time in powerpoint (or whatever googles free version is called)

Love these so much. The only* sane response to an insane time. *not literally

Haha wow, 100% thought that person in the photos was AI. A bad logo is going to be the least of her worries once Frump’s branded as the PDF that he is :S

Visual identity excels but that naming, β€œGooDonut” is so cringe 😬

Is this account a parody? Pro-US anchors are propaganda for their government, no exceptions.

Agree! That double Star Trek set is insane. As a designer, that β€˜value’ captured is in telling me, β€œHey, a real person put thought and work into this” whenever I see those little details

Loving the texture these take on! Feels like a metaphor for the clients who give you β€˜data’ but they don’t even know who it’s for or what it actually means 😝

I agree png is the equivalent of mp3, and you’re factually right about tif files. Hmm I think the issue youve uncovered lies in convenience over quality for most artists, more specifically their clients. But if I saw you deliver your work in tif, I’d be thinking, there’s a guy who actually gets it ✌️

Hmm in my experience having just gone through the process of buying a new computer, I found GPU/CPU can definitely factor into render performance but unless you’re doing crazy detailed/complex vectors, it’s more about the RAM and overall age/performance of the computer!

Did increasing the β€˜RISE AGAIN’ to run the full width of the thumbnail look too big, or are you trying to keep all text size consistent?

Sick, love the colour contrast on this. What program did you make it in?

(2/2) I don’t think anyone has ever started from a place of 100% confidence in themselves, that comes with time and projects. Not sure if this helps but just some transparency where I’m sitting with a similar debate.

At the moment I’m in that place figuring out if freelancing is the way forward for me. After getting to a point where I no longer see inhouse or agency-side having any more job security but still all the control over your work/hours. I have slightly more confidence than this time last year but (1/2)

Ok glad I wasn’t the only one seeing it trotting across the corner as if it wandered in from another painting

Love this POV by labelling all that useless noise for what it is, propaganda!

These turned out so well with that diecut! Particularly because I’ve kind of written off biz cards the past few years but these are making me question that opinion ✨

This is soo sick! Did you cover the surface all at one time or increments? (Sorry not well versed in clay so might be a dumb question)

Totally agree!! (I also think the handdrawn version underneath is stronger without the overlapping text! ✨)
