Continued text on zine: all while seeing a therapist or two or more. Did you know it’s really hard to find a therapist when you’re already depressed and then your insurance changes? It’s fo fun. I also worked with a psychiatrist on meds to help my brain get back to some version of what it was before my brother died, sprinkle in a lot of tears, journaling, forcing myself to exercise, and making new relationships to replace the ones that turned out to be, well, flaky. It’s rough out here, y’all. Zero out of ten.

Today, listening to a self help book helped me escape from things out of my control and focus back on what I can do for myself. It's tough to be all go gettem when things seem bleak but today it was helpful to pretend I'm only responsible for myself.

Gamifying it sounds good! Stretch those writing muscles! Personally I'm playing with the idea that newsletters don't necessarily need to be long form writing, but I don't know what that means specifically yet 🤷🏻‍♀️

Definitely leaning into email newsletter format. My brain is trained to think of social media format so translating video and carousel thinking into medium/long form writing has been interesting.
