Odin 2 already has a Linux distribution available, but I've not tried it out myself. A lot of the things previously 'out of reach' to Android are being ported to it now, like Xemu (but playability will be a while away).
Might wanna look out for preowned Odin 2s/Portals as people upgrade!

Oh, I've got minor nerve damage - with slightly different root causes - in both my arms right now. Started left, and then likely right is a compensatory injury. It's nerve trap stuff. Limits how long I can do... arm?... things, in a day. Like typing. Or reading. Or anything!!!
I've not been able to do much lately due to my arm injuries, but I've been working on a new map system. By moving the map instead of the player, the limit on map size extends dramatically, allowing me to make more interesting play areas!
