I’ve never received a good novel solution to a legitimate programming problem — I just get a bunch of busted ass code that calls functions from unrelated contexts. And my programming is scuffed as all hell.

Every OpenAI announcement just turns into me weeding through the lies and half truths, the fucking billions we waste on these garbage programs. O1 scored better than programmers in a contest — when it was allowed to deliver 2000x the amount of solutions as the human participants.

To be honest I don’t have negative feelings, I don’t feel like the rebrand is objectively bad — it’s just kinda weird. Branding is so homogeneous these days it’s just nice to see something different.

Jaguar makes expensive kinda crummy cars. The rebrand is just different than what you’d expect for a company who hasn’t built an iconic car for 60 years.
