Doing a thing for Final Fantasy XI on a whim. An adventurer lore advent calender, Advent-urer Calender if you will. Each day I ask simple questions about your adventurer, stuff that would normally be ignored in your usual #advqotd. No promise I will remember so if I miss one, make your own.

most of my family on my dad's side was playing it. My grandpa, my uncles, and the older uncle's wife. So for one Christmas they got my brother & i the game for ps2 lol
someone in my old fc really liked it and dragged us through eureka. did the trial in 2021 but thought it was overwhelming and couldn't break through my xiv addiction.
felt burnout with xiv's gameplay loop but eov renewed my interest in trying it again. i really enjoyed my time so far in vana'diel!
started playing waaay back around the initial NA release in late 2003, iirc my brother got the game and of course i had to try it too, lol.
my first character was actually a windurstian elvaan lady, but later i made a bastokan mithra and she ended up the character that i still main to this day :3
