Whatever you do, just don't use Windows 10 anymore (or any unsupported OS, Windows or otherwise), I would just like you to at least consider trying out a little Linux, as a treat.

I do get it though, it can be intimidating, but so can anything unfamiliar?

But between Microsoft being Microsoft, and having used Linux for a few years now, I would never consider going back.

Linux is by no means perfect, but once you find your flow with it, it's a wonderful experience.

In other news, I've been making good progress on 1st Chapter, slowly chipping away at it during free time, currently at Zeiss, taking my time to look around and whatnot before progressing. I still take issue with the terminology changes and such, but overall it has been wonderful to play.
