I’m working on one of those aseprite files that is like “December 2023 CURRENT FINAL VERSION” and of course there’s like six more recent versions and one of the layers is called “weapone” and Christ am I just always going through it or what the fuck is going on here #indiedev #gamedev

I'm realizing something as I build up this #indiedev skill set.

Many solo devs are often programmers, artists, animators, etc. So their games tend to that skill.

I am a current QA, with an Ergonomics background. So I am very bug squashing and UX focussed at every step.

Last month I had a demo launch/4-week ad blitz and I averaged 400+ wishlists/week, which was great.

Since the ad spend ended, it's like it never happened. I have been averaging 22 wishlists/week. Some days have even been in the negative. #gamedev

Due to the night attack of evil, we have no electricity all day. Therefore, Unreal Engine is postponed, I'm writing texts for the game. I had an idea that - I won't say, but it's a combination of this and ⤵️
