Finally finished Metroid Prime after dusting off my Switch. Put it off for idk how long. Still a great game. Nintendo pls remaster 2 Echoes, normally priced pls.

Glad you like my stuff including Dax! Sadly I never made a proper ref sheet or anything like that, it's just a design that evolved over time with features I found attractive.

It CAN be fun. But I'm not much of a planner, and in crowded/touristy areas you're pretty much forced to plan everything. If you want to be able to actually do anything worthwhile at all. I'm more the spontanious type, so this frustrates me. I hate being forced to be at a location at x time.

"You can get a cab" people tell me here all the time. But the prices man...the prices. How even, 180 for a back and forth to the city. Are you out of your mind???

This stuff isn't for me man. What am I doing here. Honestly our hotel is nice, but I never intended to stay here all the time. Bored out of my mind.

Want to take the bus to the city? It's jampacked every time, everyone has the same idea during bad weather. Want to visit the beach when the suns out? Better get there at 7 AM, else all the beds are taken. Want to eat at this restaurant? Sorry we're all booked up, gotta put a reservation. 🙄🙄🙄

Big Ass Bird

Drew this awhile ago and finally got around to finishing it. Directly inspired by sssonic2's roadrunner.

I just wish they'd remake Gears 2, which is probably still my favorite. Played it many times way back when. Maybe someday.

I'm pretty far in (I think) but I slowly realized I forgot how the game/story played out. Almost as if I'm playing it for the first time again. I haven't touched this since 2007, so no surprise there.

It's still Gears, it still plays the same. It feels good. And the dialogue and cutscenes hold up as well. But Ultimate screws around with the art direction and tone/atmosphere in ways that to this day still bothers me to no end. I wish they kept the grey washed out look.

Playing Gears Reloaded on PS5 is pretty surreal at first, especially when that Xbox logo shows up. But after an hour or so it already feels natural. Still a shame they just used "Ultimate Edition" for this remake, instead of updating the OG game build. Would have preferred that.
