Yuji Uekawa's art made me want to draw, too. So when I found out about the Adventure games, and saw the Adventure 2 Battle cover Graphic, I was over the moon. I almost bought a Gamecube just for that game alone.

And then there's the comics, while Ken Penders was still in the picture too. I was obsessed with them, or rather, finding them. Scowering every nook and cranny of the wild west which was the internet back then. And it wasn't long before I ran into Toyjo Toybox...

34 years of Sonic. About as old as I am, that's crazy. If there's any fictional character I owe a lot too, and who impacted my life the most, it's him.

Glad they're doing this because the PAL versions of 2 and 3 are the ones I actually played. Hearing the NTSC voice is jarring and impacts my experience quite a lot.

I'm not interested in "market prices", especially since it's pretty much entered the mainstream now. I blame covid times where everyone suddenly needed new hobbies. It's really not as fun anymore, and I've slowed down a lot.

Still want Kirby Air ride. Played it at a shopping mall a lot as a teen, also a local toy store had it on display. But I have just given up at this point. Knowing what the game is, and what people are asking for it. It's NOT worth it, not in a million years. It hurts my soul.

I just collect specific games I want, I'm not just blindly getting everything I see. A lot of them are nostalgic to me. Or I wanted to actually try them as a kid but never got the chance too.

I mean, sure, I could emulate them, but there's something special about playing on original hardware.

GC is still the most expensive to collect for tho. The way Nintendo games keep their prices up makes no sense to me sometimes. Like, Paper Mario just recently got re-released on Switch. Still charging €150+ for the GC version is just a scam at this point. 😅

Sure I have seen many ruined GC/PS2 discs from that same generation. But Xbox just takes the cake here, how does this even happen lmao.
