The president said, in a televised speech, that he's sending his new, less restrained, more violent military into US cities to practice their brutality on immigrants and minorities, to better train them to apply that brutality to other countries.

He said this out loud.

Never thought I'd see the day where an American president tells the military to turn around and point their guns inward, towards the American people.

Translation: “If we are going to be using the US military to beat, arrest and kill people of color in US cities, it would be better if that military was made up of mostly white men.”

The Secretary of Defense who only got the job because the president saw him on the teevee is complaining about military leaders who were promoted "for the wrong reasons"
