curses! If you are using an old distro that doesn't use pipewire (I am not aware of any mainstream ones that don't) you need PulseEffects.
qpwgraph can help you see how your audio is all wired up and do custom fun stuff too. I don't use it often but when I do it's very helpful.
Oh, EasyEffects is what you are looking for, something where you can put effects on your mic and output
