Hey, I said I agree! Despite my soft spot for these cameras I acknowledge their faults and I know they won't be liked by everyone.

I love them but I have to agree. The handling is a bit of an acquired taste, I didn't like it at first but at some point it just clicked for me. And even then it does feel fragile so all you can do is try to ignore that 😅

Thanks, views like this make all the effort going up the mountain worth it.

It's Orwo but not the NC500, they have a new NC200 emulsion which curiously is only available under other brands for now. And there's a theory that the Adox Color Mission also comes from that stock.

I had a look and in Poland both are still available (although 400 much more widely) next to the Kentmere. One store has the Pan 400 dated at 2030 so it seems like recent production.

It's becoming harder and harder for them to prop up their economy as well.

You don't want to know how many of them are on "their" side.

It's the film equivalent of pixel peepers, only interested in "technical perfection" and discounting anything else.

Although to be fair in this case even Adox themselves don't recommend the combination for some reason and don't list Rodinal times for this film.

Using slow film in not the best light is really great for the "am I terrible at focusing or is there something wrong with my camera" game.

No, the most I did was a standard red filter and it handled that well but I would think IR might be too much.
