That’s a huge breach of protocol.

If Hillary’s private email server worried you, this is a whole new level of subversiveness and danger, putting all of us at risk. And I’m sure it’s just the tip of the iceberg with this bunch of amateurs, given their lack of awareness about security and protocol.

The Trump gov't is using Signal, a messaging app, for official business. In the US gov't officials use secure channels for sensitive comms so records are preserved and secure. Using apps or personal devices for official work can violate federal laws on handling information.

I stand with Ukraine and President Zelenski. He’s been a strong leader, and I’m worried for Ukraine and the rest of Europe if we show weakness to Putin now. The way he was treated in the White House was disgraceful and embarrassing. I don't care what he was wearing.

On top of that, Russia is pushing to demilitarize Ukraine, which would leave them at the mercy of Russian aggression and influence for years to come.

This is a complete disaster, not just for Ukraine, but for our allies and U.S. credibility.

He’s showing his weakness and his team’s amateur negotiating skills as they get schooled by experienced Russian negotiators. So far, Russia has rejected most of the U.S. demands, including the assignment of an international peacekeeping force.

Then he called Ukraine’s president a dictator while cozying up to actual dictators. To top it off, he blamed Ukraine for starting the war with Russia, which is just flat-out false.

The current US administration is out here selling out Ukraine and our European allies like it’s just another shady Trump business deal. He tried to shake down Ukraine for a huge share of their natural resources in exchange for U.S. support.

Even worse incompetence: they accidentally fired, then apparently today un-fired, hundreds of the people who manage America's nuclear weapons.

Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

Totally, these are some sick bastards.

This is exactly why governance and oversight matter. This is our data. If they can’t even lock down a database, how can we trust them with our government systems? Not a great look so far.

The DOGE savings dashboard which was supposed to show how much money has been "saved," says "Receipts coming soon, no later than Valentine’s Day." They’ve got a few hours left to make good on that but maybe securing classified data and basic cybersecurity should be a higher priority?

The org chart they posted on the DOGE website exposed classified details about National Reconnaissance Office. Given their lax security, that’s a serious mistake with national security risks. We have no idea they are storing that could be at risk... no governance or transparency.

Amateur hour at DOGE this week as they continue to operate like they have no idea how to run an IT project while running amok in our government data. Someone exploited their weak database security and left a message on the website: "THESE ‘EXPERTS’ LEFT THEIR DATABASE OPEN -roro.”

I get wanting to reduce waste and track down fraud, but where are the metrics, governance, and transparency around what he’s doing? As a technology professional, I can tell you this would never fly in any company I work with. This isn’t some tech bro hackathon.
