Added heatsinks to the VRM (as per tradition) and put it in my Shuttle SG31. I also replaced 2 x 2GB DDR2 800 6-6-6-18 with Geil 4-4-4-12 (the motherboard doesn't support DDR2 1066, and I don't want to OC on a 250W PSU😅)

chances of it dying on its own < corrupted raid, IMHO

You could probably always just take that one disk full of data out of RAID 1 and call it a backup, create something other than RAID 10 with the three remaining HDDs, and not risk(much) losing the data 🫣

anyway, I really love these Zotac 9800GT cards:
- they are low power and don't need 6pin power
- they are mostly quiet(if fan isn't cracked) and cool
- they are single slot(fit small PCs like Shuttle)
- they have audio input and HDMI output! - you can have hardware EAX audio and video in one cable!

depending on why it died, it maybe be cheaper to buy another used 1080Ti than to repair yours... like if vrm shorted and killed the GPU/memory 😬

this tv is almost 30 years old and still working, so I'm not sure what are you talking about...

Also, here's the underfill under UV, definitely a later generation with the adhesion promoter applied, but the underfill looks pretty much like one from 2008 🤔
