The most frustrating bit is how few publishers there are who take a chance on weird games. I think a lot of gamers don't realize there are things they would enjoy because companies don't want to risk working outside of the box.

Living in California I find it very hard to like Newsom. He is really transparent in his goal to become President and I feel like he has not given enough attention to the serious issues the state is facing. Also, his turn on trans athletes is pathetic and gross.
Get 4 cards (each with a shape). Give those to all four players. Then, grab another deck and draw a card with randomly assigned alliances. That would be random and also not involve redos.

I taught a PTA board game design class for 4th and 5th graders at my kids' school. I'd start by giving them like 3 cubes and a die and saying, "You have 30 minutes. Make a game we can play!". They'd always come up with super creative stuff. Just making something and sharing it builds confidence.

Was just there! Second a trip to Manly (ferry only takes 20 minutes to get there). Rollers Bakehouse in Manly had good coffee and great pastries. If you are free tomorrow you should grab a ticket and go to the Sydney Swans game. It's Aussie Rules and super fun. Have a blast!
