Made the horrifying discovery last week that my book is written in the wrong tense and now that I've rewritten a chunk, it's occurred to me I've been shooting myself in the foot with past tense for years. Everything is SO MUCH BETTER.

my sleep schedule is so horrifically ruined and I have to return to work next week 😅 help

Had my recurring writer crisis about publishing trends and marketability and then ate an icecream and felt much better. Next time I'm skipping straight to icecream.

I say this every year, but in case anyone else needs to hear it: not everything you write/create needs to sell or have some deeper purpose. It’s okay to experiment, to not worry if every sentence is perfect, to just write something for the fun of it that no one else needs to ever see.
