🚨 New Research Monograph

Excited to share that my new monograph “The Mobile Social Network Ecology: Migrant Voices, Organizational Perspectives, and Unveiling Public Mobility in Qualitative Social Network Analysis” is now available 📖

Research universities are often the largest employers in their region. They are often the primary health care providers to communities. This funding shift will not only reduce US research leadership, it will put working people out of work and reduce healthcare access.

This is crucial work to preserve research from being censored, and to protect galleries, libraries, archives, and museums.

My hope though is that it comes at a point where we can really consider writing as mass-produced versus meaningful and thinking of writing as both art and skill

Tough to say! The assignment (and discussion of AI) come toward the end of the semester after they’ve spent weeks learning the PR writing formats, expectations, etc. so they’ve had to be pretty engaged with the writing overall 😂

I’ve done one where they need to use AI for producing multiple versions of an announcement for different channels (broadcast, social, etc) but am grappling with how to add a more critical perspective and element to AI this semester

It’s only a matter of time 😂😂
