The Blaze’s Pipe-Bomb Bombshell Appears to Bomb The right-wing outlet claimed to solve the Jan. 6th pipe-bomb mystery. Things quickly looked less certain.

I'm not going to link to the article - which was co-written by a former Jan. 6 defendant - because it names a former Capitol Police officer and links them to the bombing on the basis of "gait analysis" performed by an unidentified "source."

One former Jan. 6 defendant, Jared Wise, was hired by the Trump DOJ. Wise called the police “Nazi” and “Gestapo” and urged rioters to “kill ‘em.”

In response to questions from Sen. Hirono, AG Bondi says she has not participated in discussions about setting up a “compensation fund” for former Jan. 6 defendants.

Bondi declined to answer whether she would approve such a fund.
