Finally, "Gathering." Oh how the final act blooms in climactic fanfare! A word to represent community, assembly, the ritual of like souls sharing experience! If the artist has compressed all of civilization and joy into eleven simple, subtle letters, they can pick no other fitting combination.

Next comes the "the." So small, so seemingly utilitarian, yet regal in its humility! It's a sturdy bridge joining the nations of chaos and order. Abstraction and Manifestation grasp each other, only touching through the conduit of the humble "the." Wheeler gently places this word in exact purpose.

"Magic." With this first word, the artist means to impress a feeling of shimmering incantation as both noun and verb. It whispers of wonder, leaving the reader to fill in the gap with their own imagination. It's limitless. It's spiritual. It reaches only meanings that the viewer is capable of.

Placing her in hybrid helps communicate the modified archetype being wu, but also makes it nice to play her in any deck with blue or white that found an aura in a different color. She’s one of my favorite cards to draft and I hope she lives up to expectations! 5/5 #wotcstaff

We didn’t want to focus too much on her disability being a drawback. Tutoring for an aura or equipment felt like a good way to express her use of mobility aids in a way that made it an advantage instead of a hurdle. Her flying ability helps her use those cards well too! 4/5

Aka Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a hyperflexibility disorder that has her using mobility aids. I’ve known a few people with EDS in my life, so there was something nice here to pay respect to representing an “invisible” disability in a way that could celebrate it. In designing for the character, 3/5

She was also originally a fan-made character, who was added to comics. Including something with that origin seemed very apt if the concept of the set was to celebrate Spider-Man across all eras and expressions. The unique aspect of Sun-Spider compared to other spiders is that she has EDS… 2/5

Sure! Sun-Spider was a good candidate because she has a unique name, a suit that looks visually different than other spider characters, and the opportunity for good visuals. She also made a cameo in the recent Spiderverse movie, so she seemed like a good deep cut! 1/5
