Big Balls has to go into the hall of fame of entitled people. From becoming powerful in the government with summer camp counselor as his most experience, to getting DC taken over by multiple military forces to avenge him.

This hurts my heart so badly. Over 11 years' worth of stories like this, who knows how many thousands or millions of them. It takes a real monster to twiddle his thumbs and stall and yes, chicken out when he has the power to do so much more to help the Ukrainian people. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

I agree with you there. It can be hard when supposed "leftists" on social media call you evil or unworthy for supporting/voting this or that mainstream or even progressive Democrat. Many are trying to do it to AOC now. It's much easier to work with people who don't let perfect be enemy of the good.

That's rather "no true Scotsman" of you... also, different people have different ideas of exactly what goals "the movement" encompasses. In fact, it's a point of constant argument around these parts. So they might be part of a "movement" while disagreeing with your conception of that movement.

The last time she ran for Congress was 2018. She didn't run for reelection in 2020 so she could run her pathetic campaign for president instead. She's been out of office since 1/3/21 when her last term ended.

He's holding up his end of his deal with the devil. Switch from Democrat to Republican and help gerrymander Fort Bend County Commissioner districts in favor of Republicans, and they go easy on him in his criminal investigations. I'm speculating, but it seems pretty blatant to me.

Demilitarize them and add ironclad enforcement of the Constitution so they MUST obey it, or have to find another line of work. The trick is finding a catchy slogan to capture that. I think "defund the police" caught on so well because it is quick/easy to say. That kind of thing matters a lot, sadly.

This is the first protest where I have seen lots of progressives wrapped in American flags.

In the past week, a union leader has been arrested, a U.S. Rep charged with a crime, a U.S. Senator violently handcuffed, and reporters shot with rubber bullets and detained. There is no ambiguity. This is a regime operating as an authoritarian. Americans who believe in liberty must oppose it.
