This is really hard to talk about when you won’t peek at the Sonic Unleashed review 😭 I’m not saying we should go back to old games willy nilly and re-review them, and I understand you feel the 4.5 is justified, but this review I find to be sloppy and overly-aggressive, prompting a second look

I’d like to see IGN take another peek at Unleashed, for funsies 😇 Sorry you didn’t like the game or like game reviews!

So then, my point isn’t that this is Sonic fans being nostalgic, this is an objectively poor review

Ok that’d be hysterical actually - a really fair review but still ending with a 4.5

IF CHILD IAN CAN DO IT, YOU CAN!! Has Sonic Adventure 2 aged gracefully? No. But is it fun to play in the year of our lord 2025? Also debatable

We all know it’d only get, like, a 7 or low 8, but it’s the principle of the thing

IGN gave Sonic Unleashed the pitiful score of a 4.5 out of 10 in a now infamous review

but IGN should re-review Sonic Unleashed just because thinking about it makes me mad 😇

It does seem like a trend that’s sticking around - it took me the weekend to do! I had to play through the DLC again to get another Kubfu and certain exclusives, but it was nice to revisit SWSH at least!

The hardest part was passing by all those Pokémon and not even knowing if they were shiny, since in Sword you gotta encounter em to know 🥲
