The amount of🐂💩about this film is astonishing. I watched OBAA and hated it. Couldn't figure out why others loved it until I thought more on it. Outside of the technical prowess that film buffs can point to, it's a feel good for white libs. I LOVED Sinners & hope it upsets the apple cart tomorrow!

Wow, verbalized all the ick I was feeling about OBAA so well. I recall watching the first part of the movie incredibly uncomfortable & going "I'm not a prude yet I HATE this." I HATED the hyper sexualization of Perfidia bc it wasn't about her. It was about Leo & Sean.

Out of a town of ~40 people, so 20 women, we've now had 4 women in their 40s have natural "oopsies" pregnancies: Ava, Carly, Portia & now Jordan, w/the last 3 definitely being women of menopause age. So unrealistic that IMO it's a slap in the face to the many women who struggle w/infertility.
I remember when JnR kept talking about their getaway to Montauk like it was just a couple hours' drive. I don't know that #GH ever settled on PC's actual geography in the state. Most times it seems like it's Western NY but then on days like today it appears it's downstate just north or east of NYC

Maxie is being so extra. If Lathan had told her first thing, she'd then call them selfish for not giving her time. She's just mad bc she's torn about Nathan & Spin and pissed bc he's moved on & especially w/her BFF. Rather than sit w/that she's lashing out.
He probably said goodbye to Danny offscreen, just like where the bulk of his parenting takes place. It was crucial we see him leaving his true wub, Carly.

Becky & KeMo had to act OOC & unfavorably before. KeMo had to act through her firing! Alexa has voiced concerns in a prior article too & it's like, take what you're given and just give it your all. For this she felt like she could only lean in to the performance after KS's reassurance!
I... This inner monologue she's sharing is not a good look, IMO. You're still newish to the role & you're hyper fixated on how the audience will receive the writing so it's giving you reservations on how to act the part? This is a bit like CM trying to play a pity party w/us bc Drew sucks
