I would NEVER vote for that asshole Trump, regardless of tax breaks, but retirees on fixed incomes sometimes have a hard time paying prop. taxes. However, two caveats: 1.) any break should be income-based, and 2.) if school systems use it as an excuse to cut ed. programs, then a resounding "no."

That's not the way it works. Again, it's a political move with midterms not based on any sort of financial or legal reality.
