I don’t believe that it is planning policy. It is reported incorrectly. I believe it’s part of a consultation on changes to planning policy and then, it will only be implemented as guidance on how house builders can achieve biodiversity net gain.

Very wet early morning visit to #rspbmiddleton Marsh Harrier still hunting North Pit, several Goldeneye, Pochard and GWE, and lots of winter thrushes feeding on berries on the canal. @staffsbirdnews.bsky.social

Had a similar tagged Pochard at RSPB Middleton Lakes recently.

Either way, hopefully they’ll stay away from the guns.

Similar to me this morning in between deluges. Are the Wigeon new in? Can’t recall seeing them since spring.

I think the problem stems from it being “universal”. Newpro don’t recommend the lollipop for iPhones or Samsung. I use a PhoneSkope case for my iPhone and the ATX adapter. Very tight fit and decent results. I wear glasses, so take the adapter off the scope but you can leave them on the eyepiece.
