Guys. The budget the Senate is voting on today is terrible, particularly for renewable energy. Not only did they remove credits, they’re adding on a tax to these projects. It’ll be so expensive, most people won’t even consider renewable energy. Devastating for the environment.

Far be it from me to diminish representation of the canine community 😞

This is more complex to me than short posts alone can allow me to express.

The creatives behind shows have often snuck in storylines (or actively fought for them), and I’m not ignoring that. But I can’t remember the last time I found a show truly revolutionary or brave. Maybe we’ve reached a point where that’s no longer a possibility.

It’s sad to me because I love TV so much, but I also feel like so much of it is trying to placate the masses with messaging that’s as hollow as platitudes.

I feel we’re in an era of shows that serve up empty themes and theses because of how TV is made. We’ve got a ton of “Rich people bad” shows made by conglomerates run by filthy rich folks, for example.

I’ve finished Andor, and while I find it quite entertaining and enjoyable, I don’t know if I can necessarily be moved by a show about a revolution that’s produced by, like, Disney. This is an issue I’ve had with TV for a while. #andor

Have to give them their kudos for that
