I am damn near 50 years old.

I randomly thought about her tonight because she used to refer to me as a “man” and I HATED IT. She meant it positively — once told me I was “the sweetest man I’ve ever known” — but it was just so gross to be referred to that way.

I wonder if she remembered that when she found out I’m a woman.

In all seriousness, that’s a sad way to look at things. I hope her marriage is a positive thing for her. But I’m 100% certain me turning out to be a girl made her head explode, and thats just funny.

8 years later I got a friend request from her, accepted it, and discovered she’d just gotten married, which presumably meant I was “safe.” But it felt like she was low-key dunking on me. I got the last laugh though, because I transitioned 18 months later.

In my late 20s I dated this girl who had some good qualities but was so completely unwilling to deal with her mental illness issues that she basically sucked me dry in 6 months and it took me 2 years to recover. We tried to stay friends but she ultimately couldn’t do it, & unfriended me on fb. (1/2)

The fact that someone is going all Pentagon Papers and going scorched-earth on a bunch of women trying to help and protect each other from SA is nightmarish and upsetting. Turns my stomach.

I know very little about what’s happening with this and will not get involved beyond this post. But I saw those discord screencaps and that’s just friends talking. Women talk to each other like that when they’re trying to help and protect each other, because SA is a rampant and ongoing problem.
