my old beastars comic for example. the thumbs are way more loose

but fun. paneling takes me so long and my thumbs always look somethin like this. theyre fun to compare to the final at the end

Sorry to anyone I didn’t get to in art fight. I absolutely adore every attack I got!! I just couldn’t squeeze out anything at the end 😭 next year!

If I have one tiny bit of advice for artists:

Trace custom reference pictures of your hands. It's okay. Just trace it. You don't have to be the master of hands. Stop struggling with that one pose for an hour and be kind to yourself. You'll learn and improve as you do it too.
