It goes hand to hand with the ammount of audio messages I've been getting from people who I know can write well.

Either if it's a matter of perception or actual intelectual effort, the fact is that people are getting pushed towards tools that incentivize writting less and less by themselves

While I agree that the effort is equivalent, if not higher, I've been noticing that's not true to most of my peers. They struggle with structure and tone, at which LLMs excel at to a fault.

Perhaps I was expecting deeper insight on the looming threat of the fall of civilizarion than I should've.

The cover is impeccable though. It's as ugly as the content, it perfectly translates the vibes.

Managed to power through Philip K. Dick's "Dr. Bloodmoney", a story of post-nuclear misery lived by a rich cast of ugly caricatures.

It has many fascinating images and concepts, but Dick's naturalistic writing focuses too much on their shallow psyches for me to care about any of it

The one that hurts the most is Sacred and Terrible Air. I think it's mostly due to the unofficial translation (for which there's no alternative). The rythm is clunky and confusing.
